The online course promoted by\u00a0GoPillar Academy on BIM with Revit\u00a0<\/strong>programs\u00a0the teaching of a design through the\u00a0Building Information Modeling (BIM)<\/strong>\u00a0method using\u00a0Autodesk software.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The BIM method, or the parametric digital representation of the physical, technical, and functional characteristics of a building and its life cycle, is an increasingly requested method in the world of work as it minimizes errors and maximizes design efficiency.<\/p>\n

For these reasons, it will be increasingly adopted in the future. The USA, UK, and Northern Europe<\/strong> have been using this method for many years and Italy is moving towards integration.\u00a0At the moment, the 2017 BIM Decree<\/strong>\u00a0provides for the obligation to use this method for public contracts over 100 million euros, an obligation that will then be progressively extended to contracts of a lower amount until it is introduced\u00a0throughout the public works system by 2025.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Autodesk provides software, called\u00a0Revit<\/strong><\/a>, which enables CAD and\u00a0BIM<\/strong> design and is designed to meet the needs of architects, mechanical, electrical or plumbing (MEP) engineers, structural engineers, and construction professionals.<\/p>\n
